App license and contact
PDF Scanner: Document Scan is provided by Yozahandy Handy, an individual developer in California, United States. Support: natestudio13@gmail.com. Your app license is governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms explain the app’s services and subscription rules; they do not replace Apple’s standard license or limit non-waivable consumer rights.
Free and Pro features
Free access includes one successfully saved new scan document per local calendar day. Retakes and edits to the same document do not count as another new scan. Failed or abandoned saving does not use the allowance. The allowance is stored locally; deleting a PDF does not restore that day’s allowance.
Pro includes unlimited scanning, signatures, stamps, and on-device OCR, including searchable new PDFs and text extraction. Existing documents remain yours when Pro ends. You can access, export, or delete them without purchasing Pro, subject to the capabilities of the selected format. The purchase screen identifies the features and price offered before you subscribe.
Subscriptions, trials, and renewal
Available US plans are $39.99 per year and $4.99 per week. The App Store’s localized price and confirmed purchase sheet control the amount and period for your selected plan. Both plans offer a seven-day introductory free trial only to eligible subscribers. A person can generally redeem one introductory offer per subscription group; choosing another plan or reinstalling the app does not create another trial.
A free trial starts only when you confirm the subscription with Apple. After the trial, Apple charges the displayed recurring price unless you cancel in time. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or current billing period ends to avoid the next charge. Apple may charge a renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions, or through Apple’s subscription-management page. Cancellation of a trial may end trial access under Apple’s rules.
Deleting the app or deleting scans does not cancel a subscription. Restore Purchases checks the subscription associated with the Apple Account used for the purchase. Pending, failed, or canceled payments do not promise access. A trial or paid period may end when Apple reports it inactive.
Refunds and purchase support
Apple processes payments and decides refund requests under its policies and applicable law. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. Contact app support for technical issues; we cannot cancel Apple billing for you or guarantee that Apple will approve a refund. Nothing here removes a statutory refund or cancellation right.
Your documents and permitted use
You retain rights in your documents and signatures. The app does not acquire ownership of them. Use it only with documents, images, and signatures you are entitled and authorized to use. Do not forge signatures, impersonate others, bypass access controls, violate privacy, or use the app unlawfully. A typed or drawn signature does not prove someone’s identity or consent.
Accuracy and important records
Scanning, enhancement, crop detection, OCR, document naming, conversion, and signature placement can make mistakes. Review the final PDF before sending, signing, filing, or relying on it. Preserve originals and backups. Conversion does not guarantee preservation of every layout, font, formula, editable field, or third-party PDF feature.
PDF Scanner is a document-editing utility, not legal, medical, tax, financial, or identity-verification advice. It is not a qualified digital-signature certificate service and does not provide an independently verified signing audit trail. Whether a document or electronic signature meets a legal requirement depends on the transaction and applicable law; obtain appropriate professional advice for important uses.
Availability, security, and responsibility
The app depends on compatible Apple hardware, operating-system features, storage space, and, for purchases, Apple and RevenueCat services. It may be interrupted or unavailable. Keep your own backups and check recipient access to shared files. App authentication and iOS file protection reduce risk but cannot guarantee that a device or document is secure.
The warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability in Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement apply only to the extent permitted by law. We do not exclude liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. No term here guarantees that all errors, data loss, security incidents, or legal disputes can be prevented.
Changes and applicable rights
We may update these terms prospectively to reflect app or service changes, with notice where required. Existing paid subscriptions remain subject to Apple’s billing and price-change rules. Mandatory consumer and privacy protections where you live remain available. Contact natestudio13@gmail.com with questions.
